Prisoners of Hope (POH) is a non-profit organization with the main purpose of bringing healing to the broken hearted and hope to the hopeless.
Safe Harbor Homeless Shelter, Easton, PA: over the years POH has provided a Pastoral role at the shelter providing counsel, bible study, memorial services, baby dedications, helping people move, and hospital visitation. In addition POH provides monthly sometimes 2x a month outreaches providing the meal, worship, message, and prayer ministry. At Christmas we collect Christmas bag for those in need via the shelter and transitional housing for those leaving prison.
Northampton County Prison, Easton: POH provides weekly one on one counseling (inner healing and deliverance) for incarcerated woman. The main issue dealt with is addiction.
This ministry collects new devotionals and bibles for the incarcerated. POH is also partners with Gillhaus Bible Ministry in Washington, NJ in collecting used Bibles in good shape which get shipped to Kenya, Uganda, and the Philippines. POH collects clothing, tents, bikes, etc. for people at the homeless shelter.
POH does weekly prayer meeting in the community, and pastoral counsel and work as the need arises.
