Pastor Peter speaks on Pentecost Sunday from Colossians 3:15, “Let the peace of God rule in your hearts.” The presence of Holy Spirit in our lives allows us to maintain our composure in the midst of difficult times. Galatians 5:23 lists the fruit of the Spirit – the last one mentioned is “self-control.” The Spirit’s power in us prevents us from becoming emotionally hijacked by our circumstances. In Daniel, Chapter 2, we see a great example of a believer who waited on God for the answer to a daunting problem. Daniel was rewarded with a great promotion because he had the peace of God ruling his heart when those around him were being executed. We pray for that same anointing!
