21 Day Fast

DAY 10

Joel 1:14 (VOICE)
So consecrate a holy fast; call everyone together. Gather all the elders and leaders and the rest who live in the land. Call everyone to the temple of your God, the Eternal. Then cry out to Him with all your heart.

Fasting and prayer moves you from the natural realm to the supernatural realm.

DAY 9

Hebrews 11:6 (AMP)
But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

What impossible situations are you facing? Fasting is an outward action of our faith. We turn to God in humility knowing God will answer when we call.

DAY 8

How about a media fast? Unplug from the social media ~ and Plug into the Lord!

Psalm 141:8 (MSG)
But God, Dear Lord, I only have eyes for you.

DAY 7

GOT FAITH?

Matthew 21:21 (NIV)
Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.

DAY 6

Joshua 1:8
And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed. Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. GOD, your God, is with you every step you take.”

Lord I choose to mediate on your word day and night during this fast.

DAY 5

Matthew 8:23-27 (AMP)
When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him. And suddenly a violent storm arose on the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves; but Jesus was sleeping. And the disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us, we are going to die!” He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was [at once] a great and wonderful calm [a perfect peacefulness]. The men wondered in amazement, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

Isaiah 26:3 (AMP)
“You will keep in [a]perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both[b]inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].

Many times when the violent storms of life come suddenly, our faith gets rock just like the boat the disciples were on. We wonder Jesus where are you? Are you paying attention? Do you know that I might not make it thru this one? As you fast mediate on Is 26:3. Have FAITH in the one who the wind and waves still know His voice.

DAY 4

Have you ever considered going on a “social media fast,” or a soul fast? Fast toxic thoughts like anger, un- forgiveness, bitterness, jealousy, etc

Psalm 51:10 (TPT)
Create a new, clean heart within me. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you.

Ecclesiastes 6:7 (MSG)
We work to feed our appetites; Meanwhile our souls go hungry.

DAY 3

Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV
Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

Jeremiah 33:3 NLT
Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.

Jeremiah 33:3 NIV
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

During a fast, whether I fast specific foods or social habits, the ability to stand can be weakened by temptations. God my father has said; “call unto Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you don’t know”. That includes anything I need to know about fasting. The scriptures also say that there is no temptation taken me that is not common to man. This includes any temptation during a fast. I can call unto my Lord and He can show me ways of escape; giving me the ability to stand. I hear Him and follow His instructions. This INCREASES my faith; my ability to hear Him and my ability obey!

DAY 2

Be encouraged! The circumstances Abraham faced seemed hopeless with the carnal eye for God’s promise to come into fruition. His body was as good as dead and Sarah’s womb was also dead. But God! Instead of Abraham losing faith as he looked at his circumstances, he was STRENGTHENED in his faith because he stood on the word of the Lord.

Romans 4:19-20
Without weakening in his faith, he (Abraham) faced the fact that his body was as good as dead — since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the PROMISE of God, but was strengthened in his FAITH and gave glory to God.
